To highlight the natural beauty of this distinctive hardwood, each piece is hand rubbed with a distinct finish. Finish:
- Hope's 100% pure tung oil
- Recochem boiled linseed oil
- Varathane interior; oil-based polyurethane
- Varathane is used as a drying agent and for extra scratch guard protection. Once the finish is dry, it is inert and no off gassing occurs
- As added scratch protection, the finish used for Pacific Rim case goods includes an addition of liquid beeswax
