This 8.5" wood foundation goes great with the Atlantis natural rubber latex mattress and is made of poplar, one of the least offensive woods for chemically sensitive persons. This type of wood is strong, durable, and non-aromatic. The solid wood frame is covered in matching organic cotton quilted to a layer of our pure organically processed wool from happy organically raised sheep. This matches the mattress and provides airflow to control moisture.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This mattress is assembled using a water-based glue to
secure top layer to insure no sliding. Other 6+2 mattresses are not
glued
and the top layer can shift.
