Certifications

The wool and cotton used in the Savvy Rest mattress quilting are certified organic. There is no official organic certification program for latex, however, Savvy Rest is proud to post the results of extensive independent laboratory testing of its Dunlop latex for purity. Savvy Rest has also required its Talalay supplier to certify that no synthetic chemicals are added to the Talalay used in its mattresses.

Note about cotton: Cotton is not harvested until after frost kills the plant. Otherwise harvesting would pick up too many leaves and weeds and would result in lower quality. Because it takes at least 4 - 8 months to harvest, clean, weave the organic cotton into fabric, quilt and sew it into the mattress, the certificate is from the previous year's cotton.
