This mattress has 242 elliptical coils for more even support than ANY
innerspring crib mattress. An elliptical coil system has fewer turns per
coil making this crib mattress nice and firm, even firmer than crib
mattresses with higher standard coil counts.
Organic Cotton Crib/Toddler Bed Mattress w/Edge Guards:
This crib/toddler bed mattress is exactly the same as the Standard Model
but features edge guards if you plan to also use this mattress for a
toddler bed. These edge supports are added to give the innerspring system
support for times when the child is getting in and out of bed, or sitting
on the side of the bed.
These innerspring crib mattresses are the required 6" thick and meets all safety requirements set forth by the CPSC. These mattresses fit all standard cribs.
