Winter weight gain is a real thing. Whether it's the change in weather, the comfort food, or the lack of being able to get out and exercise… many of us pack on  a few extra pounds between Thanksgiving and New Year's.  It can be bad for our egos, and even worse for our sleep!

The connection between weight and sleep is a two-way street. Poor sleep can also lead to weight gain. According to www.sleep.org, one way weight gain happens is through an increased appetite and because "lack of sleep can affect the way your body regulates appetite, making you hungrier than you would be if you were well-rested."
