Guest Blogger: Michael Earnheart, Rhode Island Showroom Manager

Gringhost-26_600The Clean Bedroom is preparing for the greened opening of its seventh (wow, really?!) showroom in Wellesley, Massachusetts. We are consistently finding amazing individuals, from varied backgrounds to take the helm at our showrooms. Although very different in personality, our showroom managers all embody the attirbutes that make them attentive listeners and sleep experts when advising you on your organic mattress and bedding purchases.

Let's learn a little about Troy, our newest showroom manager for our Wellesley showroom!

1.) Tell us about your life BTCB (Before The Clean Bedroom)

I grew up mostly on Mount Desert Island, Maine. It's not a bad place if you happen to like lakes, mountains and the ocean all in one place. Special tip for travellers: go the week after Labor Day. Since then I've lived up and down the Maine and New Hampshire seacoasts, as well as a year spent in the lovely city of Austin, Texas. It's been a good life!

I've been pretty green ever since my late teens, which is now half a lifetime ago, and I've been interested in all aspectsof healthy living since then as well. I'm excited that with TCB, I'm now able to better allign my professional life with my own concerns and ideals!

2.) Tell us about three great qualities you possess

I'm loyal. I almost always try to make the best choices. The people in my life.. my family and friends are amazing.

3.) What do you consistently DVR to watch at your leisure?

Justified is at the top of my list. Riotous! Fringe is another one, as I'm a sucker (spoiler*) for parallel universes. I can also typically be found rewatching an old sci-fi series on Netflix, such as Farscape or Buck Rogers.

4.) What are your three recommendations of things to experience in your life?

Community, risk, and a bottomless cup of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.. in Jamaica.

5.) If you had six months with no obligations or financial constraints, what would you do with the time?

I would travel without bounds. Maybe land one place for a day and the next for three weeks. Glaciers, deserts, mountains, everything. I would take some great people on that ride with me, and meet a whole lot more.

6.) Who do you admire most and why?

My grandmother. She's wholly independent and incredibly giving. She's my touchstone.

7.) Anything else you'd like to tell us?

It's not easy being green, but it's not that hard either.

The Clean Bedroom's newerst showroom will be opening in late August. Check back to our webpage for more information as we get closer to the date and get ready to meet Troy!
