  • Polyacrylonitrile (PAN), Modacrylic, Antimony, etc.
  • Scrap or Pig Hair Fiber Pads

As well, all Naturepedic mattresses are guaranteed to meet/exceed all Federal and State flammability standards without the use of any fire retardant chemicals or flame retardant barriers. Materials used in Naturepedic mattresses are not highly flammable – organic cotton fabric and batting, steel innerspring, non-GMO PLA batting. These materials tend to smolder rather than burst into flame.  

Tested for Chemical Emissions

The GREENGUARD Certification Program℠ is a third-party testing program for emissions from consumer products and materials. GREENGUARD tests for criteria based on industry and governmental standards. All Naturepedic products are certified to the UL/GREENGUARD Gold Certification standard.
