Savvy Rest manufactures some of the purest and most comfortable organic mattresses and mattress toppers available. The company uses only pure organic wool, natural rubber, and organic cotton in the production of its mattresses. If you’ve been yearning for a good night’s sleep on an organic mattress, Savvy Rest may be your answer. The Serenity, Tranquility & Unity latex mattresses are:

  • Chemical-free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Pressure relieving
  • Comfortable
  • Reasonably priced
  • Available with either organic Dunlop or natural Talalay latex

Savvy Rest manufactures an all-wool mattress as well – called the Pastoral.

Savvy Rest also makes several natural toppers for your comfort – the “Vitality” which is made of three inches of soft Talalay latex encased in soft cotton knit; the “Harmony” which can be customized – soft, medium, or firm – and features your choice of Dunlop or Talalay latex; and the “Woolsy” which is filled with domestically-sourced  natural wool that gives superior support without sacrificing softness.

You will find several other items on our site – latex, wool, and kapok pillows, some of which are adjustable; all-natural bed frames, and pet beds for your dog or cat.  All made with the purest of materials!

Care Instructions

Machine Washing
DO NOT MACHINE WASH any component of the mattress casing. Although the top can be removed, this design is in order to accommodate rearranging latex layers. Washing organic cotton and organic wool (which is quilted inside the cotton fabric) will normally lead to shrinkage.

DO VACUUM the mattress casing now and then with the vacuum cleaner’s hand attachment.

Spot Cleaning
FIRST TRY sponging the area with a sponge dampened with a cold water and mild natural soap solution. Do not saturate. Air dry thoroughly.

FOR SEVERE STAINS, run a cold water and mild natural soap solution through just the soiled area of the casing until clean. Press water out of the casing; repeat as needed. Do not wring or twist the casing ("agitated" wool fibers lock together more tightly, which equals shrinkage). Line dry or dry flat until thoroughly dry before reassembling.

DRY CLEANING is not recommended. We cannot warranty that the mattress casing will not shrink.

Airing Out
USE SUNLIGHT AND AIR to periodically freshen the top of your mattress casing; you can lay it over a railing or on a blanket in the sun. PLEASE NOTE that this applies to the casing only: latex layers should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
