Adults who purchase this mattress tell us to let customers know this is a firm mattress. You might want to consider a mattress topper if you like a less firm sleeping surface. The owner developed this line of hypoallergenic mattresses for his first grandchild and not surprisingly this family-run organization employs strong family values. Some of the workers are Amish who are brought to the factory by Naturepedic staff to sew outer covers and assemble mattresses. We were struck by the notably peaceful atmosphere.
