Royal Pedic Quilt-top Natural Latex Mattress with German Stretch Knit ticking
The interior latex core of this luxurious mattress is all-natural latex, not a synthetic blend. The mattress is made from natural latex, premium long-staple cotton and chemical-free wool. It offers both support and flexibility for a superior night of sleep.
The mattress starts with a 8″ thick natural latex core which is encased in chemical-free French wool quilted to soft outer jacquard woven fabric made with long-staple cotton. The 8″ core is made up of a 6″ firm latex core. To this core is added a 2″ medium latex layer to give a more plush feel. This latex core is mold and dust-mite resistant. The chemical-free French wool which surrounds the latex core wicks away moisture and helps to regulate temperature. It also provides a natural flame barrier, eliminating the need for chemical flame retardants. The wool is pre-compressed to eliminate further compression. Our box spring has flexibility, so you get the benefit of the box spring suspension working with the mattress for added comfort. As well, our Double Diamond box spring unit contains extra rows of support in the center third, where most of our body weight is located. Even our box spring is upholstered with heavy-duty fabric made with long-staple cotton, a layer of padding made with premium cotton, wrapped with layering made with chemical-free French wool, the covering is made with premium cotton fabric. Even the under-cloth attached to the bottom of the box spring is made with premium cotton fabric! This mattress may also be used on a slat platform bed. Even though mattresses are firmer feeling when placed on a solid platform surface, the inherent flexibility of this latex mattress still allows it to yield to the contour to the body’s natural curves for balanced support and luxurious comfort. This mattress may also be used on an adjustable bed base.
