Handcrafted in Vermont from natural hardwoods, the Canterbury Shaker Panel Bed from Maple Corner Woodworks is a perfect fit for your healthy bedroom. You choose which hardwood (cherry, maple or walnut) you prefer and the piece is handcrafted just for you, finished with a natural hand-rubbed non-VOC finish.

The Canterbury Shaker line from Maple Corner Woodworks features a bit more contemporary style than traditional shaker with two-sided taper legs & eased edges.

All Maple Corner Woodworks beds are designed with a superb platform, eliminating the need for a box spring (although can be made in that style). As well, all beds have ten wide slats that securely interlock with hardwood dowels on the side rails. Side rails are joined to the head and footboards with heavy-duty cast hangers. No tools are required. King and California King sizes have center-reinforced support by way of a strong piece of hardwood that attaches to the head & foot board via drop-in hardware, just under the slats. Due to the strength of this support, no center leg is required, giving you full access to utilize all under-bed space.

The resulting bed is rock solid and will give you a lifetime of pleasure and comfort.
