Materials
- Organic cotton jersey cover quilted with 900g of soft, pure GOTS-certified organic wool — reducing pressure points and regulating body temperature.
- Obasan wraps each layer of organic latex individually to reduce friction between layers and reduce movement transfer.
- All Obasan mattresses pass the flame test in Canada and the USA.
Care
- Place your mattress on an Obasan foundation or an equivalent solid wood slat base. The slats should measure between 1 and 4 inches wide and be a maximum of 3 inches apart. All Double, Queen, King, and Cal. King mattresses should have a middle support.
- Protect your mattress with an Obasan mattress protector or something equivalent.
- Do not install the mattress directly on the floor or a solid platform.
- Do not allow the mattress to get wet.
- Do not wash any components of the mattress.
- Unzip the mattress’s outer cover for spot cleaning. Gently scrub with light soap and very little water. Air dry.
- Air removable cover seasonally.
- Do not place the mattress in direct sunlight or near a direct heat source.
- Flip the inner cores every 6 months to extend the lifespan of your mattress.
- The mattress cover is not washable.
